St Kizito's Nursery & Primary School was founded in 1967 as a Nursery School to Give an opportunity to the children around Kansanga Community access to Education.
It was founded by the Catholic community members in Kansanga Sub-Parish in Nsambya Catholic Parish by then.
The school remained at the level of a Nursery school with children of age 3-5yrs until 1982 when the first Primary One pupil was admitted thus marking the beginning of the Primary school.
Many children have gone through this school since then.
The school is run privately under the patronship of Kansanga Catholic Parish of Kampala Archdiocese in Uganda. It is found on Plot 2 Kampala-Ggaba Road in Kansanga Trading Centre in Makindye Division, Kampala City Council
The Parish Priest of Kansanga Catholic Parish is the representative of the Foundation Body since this is a Roman Catholic founded School.
MISSION
The mission of the school is to provide affordable quality education based on christian principles.
It follows the Uganda Ministry of Eduction & Sports Curriculum for Early Childhood Education(ECD) and the one for Primary Schools in Uganda.
SCHOOL MOTTO
The School motto is "In Obedientia Victoria" a latin phrase that basically means that it is through obedience that success can be achieved.
The children are trained to have respect for others and to fear God their creator.
